Não há absolutamente nenhuma prova sobre a idade da Terra nem dos animais que existem sobre ela. Há muita discussão, muitos erros e acertos.
Há muitas controvérsias entre os cientistas e até agora ninguém tem 100% de certeza, e ninguém encontrou o elo perdido, creio que seja porque ele não existe. De acordo com a Bíblia, os animais foram criados antes do Homem, e a Bíblia não explica qual a sequência da criação, se foram primeiro os animais menores ou maiores, apenas que os animais aquáticos e aves foram criados antes dos animais terrestres, e a Bíblia diz que foram criadas também as feras da terra. Imagino a quão variados tipos de feras o versículo se refere, uma vez que tantos animais já foram extintos, animais que nunca chegamos a conhecer. Portanto, a discussão sobre o assunto é inútil. Se a Bíblia declara que os animais foram criados antes do homem, então ciência e Bíblia continuam combinando, claro, uma vez que o criador da ciência é o próprio Deus. Quando a Palavra se refere à criação de tudo em 6 dias, é claro que não há referência sobre dia de 24 horas. Entre o primeiro e o segundo versículo de Gênesis 1, imaginamos quanto tempo deve ter passado, se a princípio o dia que conhecemos hoje ainda não existia, e o sol, a lua e as estrelas só foram criados no quarto dia. A Luz a que se refere o versículo 3 não está falando de luz de astros e de estrelas, mas de outro tipo de luz, sobre a qual podemos crer que seja a luz divina, diz que Deus criou a luz na dimensão material, pois na dimensão espiritual já existia, como se refere a Bíblia em I Tess 5:5 que somos filhos da luz (é claro que é luz espiritual). Um dia, ou mil anos, a criação é a mesma. Descrer da Bíblia por causa da contagem do tempo ou dos dinossauros é chamar Deus de pequeno. Deus criou todas as coisas para mostrar seu poder e sua preocupação com o ser humano que continua sendo o centro do universo e da atenção de Deus, mas ainda muitos continuam relutando contra esta realidade, e até agora nada conseguem provar em contrário às verdades bíblicas. Os dinossauros não estão aqui hoje porque Deus sabia que não poderíamos conviver!! Então eles tiveram seu tempo para que hoje pudéssemos ver seus grandes esqueletos e mais uma vez dizer: Como Deus é bom pra nós! A Bíblia também se refere a grandes animais como o Leviatã, Dragão, Behemote. (Isaías 27:1; Salmo 74:14; Jó 40:15; Jó 41)

Então a discussão ciência x Bíblia não tem fundamento, pois o que falta é compreensão e aceitação da Palavra de Deus, sem fartas fantasias ou radicalismo religioso, as coisas são mais simples do que supomos.

Mesmo que eu estude evolução sem acreditar na Bíblia, não tem nenhum fundamento nem lógica. Se até hoje a ciência não consegue criar nova espécie que não seja estéril ou que produza descendentes estéreis. Os híbridos resultantes do cruzamento entre indivíduos com o genótipo ancestral e indivíduos com o novo genótipo são estéreis, e não encontrei resposta na teoria da evolução sobre isto. Se o mais simples não se resolve, não se responde! Por que não posso casar com um macaco e ter filhos? Ele é meu avô! Então eu não espero resposta, porque a resposta está na Bíblia, a verdade não precisa de ninguém para existir.

Atribuir à Terra uma idade de menos de 10 mil anos é algo que os evolucionistas não podem aceitar, pois a fé neste assunto admite que a Terra tem 4 bilhões e 500 milhões de anos. A força desta crença fá-los ridicularizar a posição criacionista que afirma, com base na Bíblia, ter a Terra, bem como toda a criação, não mais de 20 mil anos, conforme a narrativa genealógica de Gênesis, capítulos 5 a 11. Mesmo que se sustente, como fazem alguns criacionistas, que a Terra possa ter, talvez, quando muito, não mais de 20 mil anos, isto, “além de ridículo” – dizem os evolucionistas – “não passa de uma gota dágua no oceano”, pois a evolução não Poe ocorrer em tão curto tempo.
Creremos, então, em quê? A Terra tem bilhões, ou apenas milhares de anos?
As pesquisas que exaustivamente fizemos, conforme fontes fidedignas como por exemplo: Matt Cartmill: “Misdeeds In Antropology”, Rewie of Bones, Bodies Bahavior: Essays On Phisical Antropology (Wisconsin University Press, 1988). Science (v.244, May 19, 1989), p.858. – Hannes Alfven, “Memoirs of a Dissident Scientist”, American Scientist (v.76, May-June 1989), p.250 e finalmente “Evolution: “Bone Of Contention” de Sylvia Baker, cientista capaz, Sylvia Baker discute sobre vários métodos de datação, aos quais veremos a seguir e ao lado de estudos outros, traduções, adaptações, nos autorizam a dizer que as tentativas para se determinar a idade da Terra se apóiam no tempo que a Terra teria levado para esfriar desde o tempo em que julgam teria sido ela uma massa em fusão; na quantidade atual de sal acumulada pelo mar, e nas rochas sedimentares que se formaram segundo as taxas de sedimentação atual... Esses métodos deram resultados conflitantes e foram rejeitados pelos evolucionistas, que afirmaram atribuírem eles idades não suficientemente longas para que a evolução pudesse ter ocorrido.
Foi então que, a partir do século XX, os cientistas partiram para o aperfeiçoamento dos métodos radioativos de datação, que hoje servem de base para se estimar a idade da Terra.
Conhecendo-se o fato de que os átomos da substâncias radioativas são INSTÁVEIS e que disto resulta a radioatividade, observa-se terem eles uma tendência de se decompor, transformando-se em átomos menores. A energia é liberada do átomo e toma a forma de vários tipos de raios em meio ao processo de decomposição.
É bom saber sobre este assunto o que considero como conclusão científica fundamental:
“Nem todos os átomos radioativos, de uma substância particular, se decompõem à mesma taxa. Um átomo pode existir apenas por alguns segundos; outro, da mesma substância, pode durar milhares de anos, antes de se desintegrar.”
lustração Da Não-Confiabilidade Dos Métodos de Datação: A não confiabilidade dos métodos de datação está ilustrada pelo fato de que as amostras de rochas provindas de 22 rochas vulcânicas em várias partes do mundo, e que se sabe terem sido formadas 200 anos atrás, dão idades que variam entre 100 milhões e 100 bilhões de anos quando medidas pelas técnicas radioativas típicas.
A despeito destas grandes dificuldades, os cientistas asseveram, CONFIANTEMENTE, que a idade da Terra é de 4 bilhões e 500 milhões de anos! É de se perguntar sobre que base se firma esta confiança. Como temos visto a datação pelo urânio não é fidedigna, e a datação potássio-argônio suscita grandes interrogações, pode uma “aceitável” idade da Terra ser fixada, afinal?
Oportuno seria lembrar que, através do método de datação do urânio, foram obtidas as diferentes datas de 169 milhões e de 3 bilhões de anos para dois escoamentos de lava do Havaí. Esses escoamentos, contudo, ocorreram há menos de 200 anos.
E O MÉTODO DE DATAÇÃO PELO CARBONO-14 (C-14)? Fala-nos do assunto o Dr. Dennis R.Petersen, em seu livro “Unlocking The Mysteries Of Creation”, pgs. 48 e 49.
1. Que É? Em 1947, Willard F.Libby, descobriu o sistema Carbono-14 que tem sido usado para medir a percentagem dos isótopos instáveis de carbono-14 nos seres outrora vivos. Supõem que os resultados dos testes dão o número de anos transcorridos desde que o espécime morreu.
2. Quais São Seus Limites? A meia-vida do C-14 é de apenas 5.730 anos. Assim, em 5 meias-vidas (29.000 anos, aproximadamente), muito pouco do isótopo C-14 permaneceria no espécime. Uma conclusão precisa seria improvável. Lembremo-nos de que o termo “meia-vida” é o tempo requerido para que metade do elemento instável dê lugar ao seu “elemento-filho”.). Geralmente, objetos aos quais se atribuem mais de 50 mil anos, não têm esta idade confirmada num teste de C-14, feito num laboratório.
3. Há Lugar Para Erros? O sistema todo depende de uma taxa estável e variável de radiação pela atmosfera por, pelo menos, 30.000 anos. Há um bom numero de suposições improváveis no método.
À guisa de ilustração, imaginemos um quarto hermeticamente fechado e totalmente vazio, com exceção de uma vela que nele vem queimando, e nos pedem para determinarmos por quanto tempo a vela vem se consumindo.
Ao avaliarmos a situação, logo vemos a total impossibilidade de enfrentarmos o desafio. Podemos pensar sobre quanto tempo o sebo da vela levou para se acumular; ou, lançando mão da técnica, tentarmos medir as quantidades relativas de oxigênio e dióxido de carbono presentes no quarto, comparados com esses elementos que estão do lado de fora.
Mas como podemos saber se alguém não vem abrindo e fechando as janelas repetidas vezes? não teria havido condições que levariam a vela a queimar mais depressa? Poderia acontecer também que a vela se apagasse e se reacendesse.
4. Conhecem-se Discrepâncias Em Amostras Datadas com o C-14?
1o.- Teste de moluscos (ainda vivos) foram datados como tendo 2.300 anos de mortos, 2o. – Argamassa de um castelo inglês, com menos de 800 anos, foi datada em 7.370 anos. 3o. – Peles de foca (ainda frescas) foram datadas como tendo 1.300 anos.
Podemos nos perguntar se é possível confiar no método de datação pelo C-14 especialmente quando não temos outra maneira de testar a precisão.
5. Que Elementos Poderiam Alterar a Taxa de Decomposição do C-14?
1o. – Poluição atmosférica proveniente,
a) De atividade vulcânica
b) Da queima de elementos combustíveis das industrias
2o. – Da atividade solar, como:
a) Labaredas solares
b) Manchas solares.
3o. – Radiação cósmica de extraordinários eventos em nossa galáxia, como uma supernova (explosão de uma estrela).
4o. – Meteoros ou corpos cósmicos maiores que caem sobre a Terra.
Um exemplo de como os meteoros tem afetado as leituras do C-14 ocorreu na Sibéria em 30 de junho de 1908. Pode-se ler sobre o “Enigma da Grande Explosão Siberiana” na Readers Digest de agosto de 1977. De acordo com as reportagens, as medições feitas com o carbono-14 e 3 anéis ao redor do mundo, foram grandemente alteradas como resultado da explosão, dando em leituras imprecisas.
Como podemos medir qualquer amostra e fazer cálculos em meio aos efeitos de mudanças ambientais do passado? O sistema depende da idéia de que não houve eventos catastróficos no passado. O C-14 perde o valor se, no passado, as condições sobre a Terra eram muito diferentes.
O mapa geológico da Terra com suas supostas eras: Cenozóica, Mesozóica, Paleozóica, Proterozóica e Arqueozóica e seus períodos: Quaternário, Terciário, Cretáceo, Jurássico, Triássico, Permiano, Carbonífero, Devoniano, Siluriano, Ordoviciano com seus milhões e bilhões de anos, foi concebido para dar uma idéia das “Eras” progressivas da história da Terra.
É fato decidido que o C-14 tem credibilidade para determinar as idades de objetos na faixa de 3 mil anos mais ou menos. Objetos aos milhares, contudo, têm sido testados, e alguns com resultados muito chocantes. A informação que segue nos vem de vários números de um jornal cientifico chamado RADIOCARBON. Lembremo-nos de que coisas que tenham mais de 50 mil anos, não poderiam ter bastante C-14 para fazer medições, se é que existem coisas com esta tão avançada idade:

Por que não se elabora um estudo para que obtenha uma completa analise de toda a seqüência?
Lembremo-nos de que os chamados “Períodos Geológicos” são – todos eles – nomeados tendo em mente a teoria da evolução. Os nomes são totalmente arbitrários; eles nada significam senão aquilo que os crentes nesta teoria querem que eles signifiquem. A maioria dos nomes foi atribuída há centenas de anos já passados, bem antes de serem conhecidos os métodos radiométricos. Considere:
“Paleozóico” significa vida antiga
“Mesozóico” significa vida no meio (intermediária)
“Cenozóica” significa vida recente
“Cambriano” refere-se ao nome antigo dado às baleias.
Do “Bulletin of The Geologic Society Of América” (vol. 69, Janeiro de 1958), citamos as palavras de Curt Teichart: “NENHUM QUADRO COERENTE DA IDADE DA TERRA PODE SER CONSTRUÍDO NA BASE DA DATAÇÃO RADIOATIVA”.
A evolução, ou melhor, a teoria da evolução(hipótese que aguarda confirmação científica a mais de 50 anos), exige milhões de anos. Mas se milhões de anos não passam de mito e a evolução é uma inverdade, então todo o fundamento da Geologia Histórica se desmorona sob o impacto da maré que destrói cada casa construída sobre o erro. A TERRA É JOVEM!
Desde que não há meios de se provar as suposições sobre a idade da Terra, também não há meio seguro – exceto por revelação divina – de se saber a verdadeira idade de qualquer formação geológica.
Impõe-se, então, a pergunta: Haveria indicações nas descobertas cientificas de que a Terra poderia ter mais de 20 mil anos?

5. Elements that could alter the rate of decomposition of the C-14?

3rd. - Cosmic radiation of extraordinary events in our galaxy, such as a supernova (exploding star).
4th. - Meteors or larger cosmic bodies that fall on the Earth.
An example of how the meteors have affected the readings of the C-14 occurred in Siberia in June 30, 1908. You can read about the "Enigma of the Great Siberian Explosion" in Readers Digest August 1977. According to reports, the measurements made with carbon-14 and 3 rings around the world have been greatly altered as a result of the explosion, giving inaccurate readings.
How can we measure and make calculations any sample through the effects of environmental changes of the past? The system depends on the idea that there was no catastrophic events in the past. The C-14 loses its value if, in the past, the conditions on Earth were very different.
